Earn up to 50% Commission
You’ll receive $74.50 commission (50%) on every sale when promoting the My Makeup and Bridal Makeup Course and $124.50 commission on every sale when you promote the Full Makeup Course. You’ll receive 10% commission when your referred customers join a Makeup Course + DVD Set, Makeup Course + Makeup Kit or Makeup Course + DVD Set + Makeup Kit. You also receive 10% commission on every product your referred customer buys from our cosmetic store.
(Please note that we do give up to 25% discount on our makeup courses from time to time. Commission will therefore also be reduced according to the discount that was given.)
High traffic websites are choosing to promote our makeup courses because it delivers higher conversion rates and exceeds the income received from normal banner advertising.

How Does It Work?
It couldn’t be any simpler! We’ve streamlined our entire affiliate process to ensure ease of use, while still maintaining extremely accurate tracking methods.
The process is as follows:
- Visitor clicks on an affiliate link on your site or in an email
- The visitors IP is logged and a cookie is placed in their browser for tracking purposes
- The visitor browses our site, and may decide to order
- If the visitor orders (the order does not need to be placed during the same browser session – cookies and IPs are stored indefinitely), the order will be registered as a sale for you and you will receive commission for this sale.
That’s it! You send us business, we send you money!

How Do I Get Paid?
We pay our affiliates via PayPal. Therefore you need to have a PayPal account to receive your commission. If you don’t have a PayPal account yet please click here to register. Registering your account takes less than 5 minutes. You can then just link your bank account with your PayPal account.
Your affiliate commissions must reach a minimum of $100 before you can receive payment. Commissions are paid on the 27th of each month.
Advanced Tools
DirectLinking
DirectLinks is an advanced feature that allows you to link directly to our site without additional parameters in the URL.
So for example, instead of: http://www.universityofmakeup.com/#a_aid=12345&a_bid=67890 you can use only: http://www.universityofmakeup.com
Just submit your URL from the Affiliate Center (after signing up). It’s best to choose your URL as *.yoursite.com* instead on www.yoursite.com. This will ensure that any link from any of your pages will be tracked.
This kind of linking has several advantages:
- Visitors are unaware that they are clicking on an affiliate link. Some people are not so keen clicking on a link they recognize as an affiliate link. If you use affiliate links in your blog or review site, visitors will know that you earn commissions for the promoted products, and they would less likely believe in your review and click on the link. If you use DirectLinks nobody will know you are promoting our products.
- Visitors will not damage or remove your affiliate parameters. There are people who don’t like to purchase through affiliate links, even if there is no disadvantage for them. They rather copy the URL to their browser and remove the affiliate parameters. You can protect yourself against this by using our affiliate link cloaker, but if you use DirectLinks, you don’t need to worry about anything.
Advanced Tracking Tools
Our affiliate program provides tools for advanced tracking of the traffic you send to us. This is sometimes called SubId tracking, or Ad channel tracking, it is used to know exactly which of your promotion efforts pay off and which do not.
Examples of use:
- Testing the best placement for the banner on your website – you can use the same banner, but with different channel for every position – and you will know which one is clicked more or has better CTR.
- PPC campaigns – you can have multiple advertisements using the same affiliate link. By using a unique channel for every advertisement you can find out which ones are more effective and have better conversion rate.
